My kids like to rise and shine early. (Too early, believe me.) But I don’t let that put a damper on our day. Quite the opposite. They climb up on stools beside me, and we make breakfast together.
This morning we made a pretzel bunny. He had banana ears & eyes, a raspberry nose, cheese for cheeks & whiskers, and a bit of almond butter to stick it all on! And since it was breakfast time, we thought he might be hungry, too - hence the carrots. Some kids start the day doodling on paper while they eat breakfast. Mine create right on their plates! Each day it is a little different. You never know who will show up… Can’t wait to see who comes to breakfast tomorrow!
